Russia was the top new market on $490,000 at number 10, while the UK was the lead holdover on a decent $1.5m for $16.3m after three weekends. It opened in nine markets and the highlight was a $200,000 bow in Philippines, while the UK delivered $566,000 for $14.6m after four weekends. The numbers dont make much sense, Uk was at 16,3m after 3rd weekend, now its at 14,6m after four? How did they overestimate by a whole week gross? It would explain why the other numbers are also extremely unlikely. It had an 4,3m international weekend and then made international 800k in the whole week? They've both adjusted their numbers now, so the BOM number was correct. I don’t know where Screen Daily got nine markets from, I see only two. Most likely 9 markets it's left in with 2 being larger ones they give specific numbers for. According to Com score/Rentrak, Cats had opened in 51 markets as of the Jan 5th w/e.
