Boyyyyyyy no one talking bout it but this shit pretty damn good. Gonna be A24's highest grossing domestic film for sure. Could maybe be a Phantom Thread in terms of Oscar buzz hitting just the right time??

sure about that?

more then TLJ yes, sure I agree, more than TFA? NO WAY

The reason why I said that is because it's the end of the entire saga. 40 years and they've made that point known in their promotion for the film. Why is this film not making Endgame numbers? That was also marketed as a finale film.

The answer is very easy to understand but there's no reason at all that 5 years ago we'd be skimming by a billion after TFA.

not even ENGDAME did same numbers or more then TFA, of course I am talking about DOMESTIC, not OS
not sure where you have been last two years (no offense), but if you spent some months here at box office threads, there was not a single thing showing, that TROS will match or make more then TFA, it's almost imposible to replicate what TFA did, nostalgia factor and 14 years of waiting were biggiest poinst for TFA... plus total chaos in fanbase after TLJ

This Christmas Eve does seem a little boosted compared to the one in 2013. Wonder if that will affect the jumps today.

Checking theaters near me everything is doing great besides Bombshell and Cats

Neither of those are doing much at my local theaters.

Little Women and Uncut Gems both seem to be doing well, but Spies in Disguise looks like it's going to be an underperformer.

Jumanji looks like it's blowing up. It's going to have a great day.

maybe Tue was discounted in some theaters (people can also become habituated to prefer Tues, even an odd one without discounts, but that's reading a bit much into it).

Jumanji is pretty much sold out at my theater.

Uncut Gems is doing really well by me. Nothing sold out yet but most shows are 80% full which is good imo

Little Women is doing decently but it’s problem is that it’s in the smallest screen at my theater.

Bombshell and CATs are both BOMBING.

What about Black Christmas? Is it turning into a green Christmas?
