They are completely correct... if we ignore that TROS will lose about 70M in running grosses to TLJ over the next 8 days.

Deadline is out of control:

Quote

Skywalker‘s 3-day is still in the range that many were forecasting heading into the weekend ($70M-$80M) with $76M (-57%). That figure is tremendous, way way ahead of Solo's second weekend ($29.3M, -65.2%).

Did Deadline turn into Disney's PR suddenly? What is going on?

I don’t know about Deadline as a whole, but Alessandro has ALWAYS been a Disney fan boy. In any case, in this instance I am hoping against  all odds that he is right. TROS is better than TLJ in my opinion and deserves to smack it box office wise. But that is not the way the box office works. There may be an over saturation issue with the Star Wars movies.

Please tell me that's a real subtitle. If it is it's up there with "Mooing in Fear" as one of the best subtitles ever

Little Women should be at almost $30M by the end of this weekend and $60M+ by the end of next weekend. With strong WOM plus both awards season and a dead-looking January coming up it likely won't even need a late run push to hit $100M.

How much did the superior 1994 version gross adjusted for inflation?
