:)

What's your take on it?

It was Cats the musical but on the big screen. The musical wasn’t my cup of tea so it’s no surprise the movie wasn’t my cup of tea either. But I admit I was more scarred watching the movie than I was watching the play. The choice to have the actors CGId as cats has emotionally scarred me for quite sometime.

I think it's impossible TROS doesn't make at least 1 billion worldwide. I mean, after this weekend , it'll be at 700 million worldwide or a little more. I can't imagine this movie doesn't make at least 255/300 million more.

Unless it heavily drops overseas.

It would need to barely make 500 million domestic ( perhaps even less ) and it would need to fail to make 500 million overseas. I think it's impossible

I think they mean that it is so close to going under a billion that the under billion predictions aren't so crazy. At this point, you could say the over-TLJ predictions, which is what a lot of people came up with, were more crazy.

Skywalker‘s 3-day is still in the range that many were forecasting heading into the weekend ($70M-$80M) with $76M (-57%). That figure is ahead of Last Jedi‘s second weekend (not counting its Christmas Monday), which was $71.6M (-68%). 5-day is lower than what were seeing at $138.7M with total by Sunday at $365.7M, just $2.4M behind Last Jedi at the same point in time. Still, a final domestic gross well north of $600M is in store for Skywalker (Last Jedi ending its run at $620.1M).

It’ll make a billion, though, it won’t go any higher than that.
