Binged You S2 whole night. WoW. Didn't expected it to give so good a closure (hopefully they don't sequel-ise which is inevitable though) after S1. Won't delve into spoilers. 8/10. (My S1 rating was 5/10).

A few days ago I started tracking a new larger region of theaters and they have more or less matched the chains I've been tracking in Michigan, but today there is a huge disparity between the two samples.  One of them is indicating ~8M and the other is indicating ~9.75M.  So I have no idea what today's number will be.

Looks like they're missing Frozen's daily numbers for December 23rd - 26th.

The new Grudge looked boring so not surprised. Horror has a good at track record in January so who knows maybe it can still do better.

I think Grudge will still have a good opening (maybe not 20+ like I originally thought) but have really crappy legs. Like, barely over 2.0x.

Might be due to the chain composition of the two samples? We are back to a semi regular weekday and some chains like Cinemark play stronger on weekdays.
