Glad he's finally admitting it won't beat Lion King's $543M. He said it was "locked" to go above $543M as recently as a week ago, even though all of us here have been expecting below Rogue One for the last couple weeks.

Next weekend, the contract is up...so it's gonna take a huge hit in screens next weekend...how many is still TBD...depends how bitter studios are about this week and the next few weekdays...and if Disney moves off their revenue contract...

Next weekend JUM2 surely goes over TROS I believe.

TROS's high price screens engagement ends while JUM2 faces some comp in Dolittle.

I hate Disney contract. It saves the face of movies whose face shouldn't be saved. Can't freakin wait for TROS collapse. It had poor holds anyway but I want worse.

Looking at the other movies in the top 10 it's not going to be that huge a hit.  It's already lost a ton of screens just not the guaranteed largest ones.  Since it's not filling them moving to the 3rd or 4th biggest screen in most multiplexes won't make that significant a difference.

Bombshell is dead. Who thought people would want to see a film about Megyn Kelly and Fox News ? Same fate as Richard Jewell: bad times for real events info-dramas: thank god.
