Does that Like A Boss number include the previews? If not deadline were way off with high 4’s.

3.9 v 3.25 rules out any upset this weekend.

15 (-56.5%) for TROS and 13 (-50%) for J2 imo

Highly doubt it. Even if LW were to show a 135%+ bump to match J2's 3.25, Sat will easily go for J2 and J2 should then stay ahead on Sun even with a worse drop than LW.

If it doesn't include previews (which Charlie's Friday numbers usually don't), then Deadline was actually very accurate. 

3.9 + 1 (previews) = 4.9
The Deadline article from early afternoon said 4.7 with previews.

Where they were way off was 1917.

They said 12-13 million including previews.

Charlie generally does not include preview numbers when he posts Friday numbers. 

He usually posts true Friday, so it can be assumed it's 14m + 3.25m

I would say that still puts 1917 for over 40 mil and Just Mercy should be able to cross 10 mil OW. Not so good for Like a Boss. Might not even cross 10 mil imo.

 

Also, how bad are Underwater numbers?

So about $37 million for 1917 by the looks. Oscar nominations Monday, of which it will receive a likely 7 nods (Picture, Director, Cinematography, Score, both sound categories, production design). Long fruitful few weeks ahead for it.

I used The Revenant Friday including previews as a comp to make my 40 mil prediction but just found that The Revenant's Thursday previews gross made up a smaller percentage of its Friday compared to 1917 so I guess you're right with that 37 mil prediction. Was hoping it could do 40 mil though.

F2's jump should be more than J2's 163.5% am guessing.

F1 had jumped 186% this Fri in 2013.

+175-180% gives 1.50-1.53m.
