Is there a reason we're not having all the weekday threads as just one big thread like we did over the holidays? It makes no sense; during the slow seasons, the daily threads sometimes have 5 pages or less. But yet we have one weekend thread that is usually 25+ pages, even during the slow season. Why keep them separate outside of appealing to tradition?

It's a franchise that's old and doesn't translate to the new folks. If they do it again they should radically alter everything to focus on core fans. Budget needs to considerably be more manageable.

In other news: Harry Potter nerd alert, I have secured free tickets to Cursed Child in San Francisco, both parts.

I am also curious if there was an actual decision reached, or if we just reverted back to the older (and imo slightly worse) way of doing things out of habit.

I don't care either way.

What will happen for this coming Monday Thread?  Who will start it?  What will the title be?  For these answers and more tune into BOT next Tuesday.

 @grim22, @DeeCee, @Eric Dolittle ?

Just discussed this with other mods and we will go with one thread for weekdays Monday thru Friday and one for the weekends. Of course, at our discretion we might do daily threads to follow some runs in the future and so on. But for the lean periods it makes sense.

@sfran43 this thread will be the weekdays thread for this week

@a2k don't create one for tomorrow if you see the numbers first
