MLB delays start of season at least two weeks.

It’s a bandaid but at least it gives them time to figure out a longer plan.

As if the video game industry wasn't already facing struggles with crunching.

This is the kiss of death for Gamestop, by the way. No way at all they survive this.

If Cyberpunk hadn't been delayed...

Gamer: I didn't get out of my room for 2 months!

Normie: Because of the virus?

Gamer: What virus?

I personally expect games no sooner than mid-May, maybe early June.  But baseball might decide to baseball.

(especially if they try out a no-fan policy and shoot for late April)

Honestly?  I'm just surprised I didn't wake up to this news.  Surprised it took this long into the day after the NBA set the tone.

Indiana at the hooters near Indianapolis. It’s dead in here. Other news these movies being moved maybe 2021 will be a massive record rebound. Streaming could be as massive more since people are wanting to stay home.

I hope everyone is safe and hope that we can all be happy & healthy. I think we will be just fine... just have to take major precautions and be cautious of everything and that’s not a joke.

At my work there’s signs everywhere about not coming to work if you have a 100.4 fever or aches or cough or sore throat etc.

on a personal side, this shit is scary! But I’m gonna try to take it easy and breathe and relax, and hangout at a few places. On a personal opinion as well we should not go in a frenzy by what social media tells us, that’s a problem with humanity today if we see it on Facebook then holy shit we should be in panic mode. Anyway you guys take it easy I know I am.

peace,

Oh, well. NRL season got underway last night.  What was that about limiting crowd sizes?

I figure they'll do a "no fan" Memorial Day kick off...if we are in any shape to have baseball then...daily games maybe in specific set cities where it's not bad...might have weekly series between 2 teams to cut down on travel...and no fans...

That would be me if I was baseball head guru...

No sports or movies but lots of great video-games coming out in the next few months. If you are looking to keep busy.

You could also watch some great anime as well. For example One Piece is 1000 + episodes and well it's perfect if you're quarantined.

This is insanely dumb.

I agree its r***rded but many attractions are out in open and generally the crowd would have thinned out big time with very little travel to LA and people avoiding these places.

Still Disney should do the right thing in closing these parks but it appears like they are influencing Gov to take the wrong action. Casinos are dangerous for sure !!!

Goes to show every government official from every party around the world is pretty much dropping the ball.

Heck, today, I went to my local library and saw zero precautions being taken with no sanitizer out, no napkins in the bathroom, librarians touching everything with bare hands, no cleaning or sanitizing of the group meeting room (which is having a 2 hour kid program today)....I went right home and wrote my city councilman b/c my area is in the middle of a viral breakout and I told him we were a week away from having an explosion just at that site...maybe he does something, but maybe not...at least I know I tried...

And this is just one stupid issue...I'm also on my Church getting changes made...every day...at least I got the choir director in my corner, who has the ear of the pastor...

People wait in line, touch the railings (heck, kids lick the railings), touch the ride bars, stuff into restaurants with unclean tables...this is an enormous disaster waiting to happen...

Disneyland had a measles outbreak like, last year or something. It’s a giant Petri dish just waiting for people.

Same thing with casinos.
