That's the downside. The upside is after it takes over it's easily defeated 😲🤣

Anyone else a little worried about the Indian double mutation variant?

I'm guessing this is an announcement on the AZ blood clotting issues, some are saying they may limit it to over 30s until they get more information.

No I'm assuming Booster shots in Autumn will aim to target the most threatening variants. Hopefully its not a big issue, I just wanna go on holiday

Oh what a turn around, from the highest in Europe in February to the lowest in April.

The power of a one dose vaccine strategy.....

Looks like UK has been exporting to friends and family.

More than 700,000 AstraZeneca doses secretly flown to Australia from Britain

I'm sure most of us would be happy to give Australia some

7 fully vaccinated people infected again in Norweigan carehome and 2 is in the hospital. Looks like the Brazilian or SA variant is going to make it hard

It says 3 of them had variants, which means the other 4 didn't.

That sounds a bit suspect, how can the 7 be infected at the same time all with different variants?

Yeah. Good question.
But if both in the hospital has SA variant its a bit concerning. It will take many months before a SA booster is ready. And by then we will most likely have a new concerning variant.

Here in Tyrol, we had some confirmed re-infections this year, all of them with the SA variant

Any serious cases or deaths?
