Post Endgame hype, FFH would have done just $150-155mn if had FSS. Now that's a good +32% but post Endgame should have been bigger. Yeah I agree, but with the FFH cliffhanger ending I think we may see a bigger increase.

AdrianL
Although Dolittle has actually had solid legs I noticed it's barely made 1x its budget... yikes.

With 50m marketing budget for medium budget movie this could have been modest hit. And yes marketing budget do matter. 'It' movie was made of just 35m but its marketing budget was 100m+. The studio expected better numbers. Not very happy with the performance. Hoping that this doesn't hinder GCS movie. I doubt they are making a Gotham City Sirens movie.
RealLyre
https://deadline.com/2020/02/sonic-the-hedgehog-opening-birds-of-prey-global-international-box-office-1202860971/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Quote Leading the charge on the Hedgehog was Mexico with $6.7M from 895 locations, followed by the UK with $6.2M from 616, France’s $4.3M at 622, Germany’s $3.3M from 475 and Brazil’s $3M from 629. Sonic still has Russia and Japan to come while the China release has been shelved for the moment owing to the coronavirus epidemic. for comps Pikachu opened with: 4M in Mexico 6.4M in the UK 5.4M in France 4M in Germany 1.5M in Brazil. so Sonic is doing better in Latin America. 1
Firepower
Sonic will have better legs than Pikachu. It could cross 400 mln, especially if it'll be released in China in the end.

Maxmoser3
It seems like 2020 box office so far is having mostly luck with delayed films like what 2015 had at their slate at the beginning of that year. Fifty Shades Of Grey, Kingsman 1, and even I think Spongedumbass 2 was delayed even! While yeah Jupiter Ascending was a major bomb and so was Dooless. But who would’ve thought at the beginning of 2020, 90’s nostalgia would be making most of the money! Bad Boys For Life may outgross the adjusted total of Bad Boys II($209.3 million). Sonic also now becoming the best debut for a video game adaptation! Also becoming the best debut for Paramount since Mission Impossible: Fallout! Sonic’s domestic total I won’t project yet. Harley Quinn still in limbo but President’s Day and Valentine’s Day I figured would give her a boost. $100 million total is out of question for sure, $90 million isn’t out of question still... hopefully overseas would save it but it’s hard to tell for right now. Not bad starts for both Photograph and Fantasy Island, both moderate budgets and should be both small successes.

Johnny Tran
Looks to me like Birds of Prey is going to leg it out to the break even point. All that "flop" talk was premature. 1
