The babyfication of major characters has been around since the 1980s with things like Muppet Babies and A Pup named Scooby Doo. Studios knows cute sells.

Remember it can always be worse:

They changed Magilla Gorilla on that show to Magilla Ice. I hope whoever made that decision is sorry for what they have done.

NTTD gives me an excuse to re-watch Casino Royale and Skyfall in the next month or so.

Unfortunately, given the connections that seem apparent in the marketing, I might have to re-watch Spectre too. Not touching QoS though

for 20m it needs at least 550K+ and MTC1 will under index. Definitely can happen.

@TalismanRing 15x should not be an issue.

@TwoMisfits Previews always over index, but in the case of Sonic it lacked the wide preview release of other movies. Based on Charlie's early projections MTC1 will under index today which is also a norm.

Ugh! Finally!

If Robin Williams were still alive, a third movie taking place in the "real world" and adding him to the cast IMO would do 400M again

In a strange way, the original Muppet Babies is one of the most prophetic shows out here. A Muppet series produced by Marvel Productions, and even featured clips footage from Star Wars. It's like Jim Henson knew what would happen after he dies.
