Great choice at number one.....for anyone who wasn't here a few years ago, I did a countdown of the most important films ever made.  Matrix was number one.

Great job presenting @Inceptionzq. Really can't disagree with any films in the top ten, they're all pretty essential sci-fi flicks.

Ummmm...okaaay

It shouldn't be in the top 100 at all, same as the rest of the films from the most overrated franchise of all time.

 

But other than Star Wars, this is pretty good list, although there are a few in the top 10 that should be in back of the list to make way for Fury Road/Arrival/Children Of Men instead.

Thank you very much for this @Inceptionzq. Sci-fi is my favourite genre, so it was great to follow. And although the overall top 100 reflects some inevitable superficiality of judgement, I was really happy to find (speaking of judgement...) Terminator 2 in the top 3, which is where it belongs.

Also just realized some movies that would've been on my weren't tagged as scifi on letterboxd. (The Prestige, Nausica, some others). Oh well.
