Tell me, do you remember Derby? | Week 11

Recommended Posts

So... I don't know how @POTUS 2020 does the excel prediction thing. So if someone would like to show me how, I can't post it!

But we had a surprisingly decent amount of predictions this week. We'll see how the next few months go.

I’ve got a medium level of spreadsheet competency, happy to try to help.

Derby page: Weekly Scores: Current week: click xcel logo:. Open. copy first 3 columns of picks. Not inc title

1. Click on a prior link

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ab3hsLbx8w6977GEJw7Z_RaiJuNCk50Weirj-gao-Yc/edit?usp=drivesdk

2. Menu: Share-copy: Make a copy: Retitle for current date.

Paste in the first cell under title of the first column

Delete old picks at the bottom if there were more players in the prior week.

The prediction % column auto populates.

The other 4 columns. DHD Prob Studio and actual are manual. Delete data. Add daily by copying name and prediction%. Pasting data only and sorting

Or copying the auto sort columns on on the second page.  Tab at bottom. "Ordered automatically". Then pasting under the DHD

I stopped after missing a few. Not to critcise andy, im sure he is busy, but with being published late in the last few months, it has dropped the players incuding myself.

We were at 30-40 for a long time

Maybe ill start up again

Not exactly the best timing. Maybe people will start up again whenever theaters start up again.

In fact, I think I’ll start up (for the first time) then.

I mean, this was inevitable. The only way I ever win is if I score like 98%, or figure out a way to bring everyone down to my normal terrible level.

Is it worth having a derby for the next couple weeks? I was going to retire from making predictions at the end of the year, but maybe I'll give it another year when things get back to normal.

Probably not, unfortunately. It's very likely we don't even get numbers for this coming weekend. And then after that I'm thinking at least 2 months of nothing.
