The Batman | March 4, 2022 | Warner Bros. | Certified Fresh on RT | 7th Most Profitable Movie of 2023

Then came word that the latest movie for the Dark Knight was almost THREE HOURS long. That's some Endgame-level length for DC and Warner Bros.' The Batman. (Think that's long? Some test screenings showed an early, four-hour cut, sources tell us.)

But the thing that caused buzz for Batman wasn't a new trailer, it was the release of Michael Giacchino's theme (don't even ask us how many times we've listened to it).

It's been a long time since a studio used a score to generate buzz, but it (ahem) underscores on one level how confident Warners is in the movie. But while Warners is flying high with its movie, which opens March 4, another studio's franchise has up and left the year.

Surprised this movie hasn't had full leaks like the nwh and ds2

Warners has really put the clamp down on this one.

iMust have made it clear anybody doing an unauthorized leak (no secret that a lot  of" leaks" are done the studio as a gimmick to stir up interest) gets his or her butt canned.

God, you would expect somebody who works for one of the big trade papers would know that  the first test showings of many movie are vastly overlenght. That is one of the main reasons you have them, to judge by audience reaction when a film is overlong and dragging.
