The general audience either doesn't know Miller's controversies and/or likely won't care enough to avoid seeing this. For now, WB has no choice but to stick it out for the next 9 months and hope that Miller either stays out of trouble or that these stories fade from public consciousness.

Which leads to the Catch 22:

1. Continue to delay the movie and you risk more controversies coming out about Miller.

2. Push the movie forward and Miller's antics will become more known to public and cause more problems with promoting the movie.

Whatever the degree to which the EM saga has entered the public consciousness, and not just the twitter echo chamber, by the time June 23rd rolls around most just aren't going to care anymore. You can only get the same stimulus so many times before you habituate to it, and if he stays out of trouble these next 9 mos- probably a tall order- the "Ezra Miller is a freak," angle will be long played out by then.

And if for any reason he gets arrested between now and the movies release for something serious then god help Warner Brothers, because that wont be something they can just sweep under the rug easily.

there simply is no historical precedent. My own guess is that WB will come up with a series of interviews with influencers, etc. where Miller does his mea culpas, and the American public, being a forgiving- or at least, forgetful- sort, will accept them and move on.

Telling from non American perspective , no one from movie going audience actually cared/exactly knew about the Depp vs Heard fiasco which was a tale as old as late BvS and Aquaman's production throughout the mid 2010s when both were just working "normally" for respective WB franchises (Depp recently also had Pirates film around the time).

It was only the hollywood execs who shit their pant with Depp based on all PR pressure.

It was only after Depp launched that massive PR focused trial which made the whole thing blow on an international level partly thanks to the recording courts with all testimonials that went viral across all the social media instead of just being a twitter he said/she said thing.

Maybe WB knows this so they might be actively trying to avoid Ezra being infront of cameras at all cost behind the scene.

I don't think the average movie goer will really care but I have a feeling that critics will be biased. Similar to the Joker situation only probably worse.

Tina Guo (cellist who created the Wonder Woman theme with Hans Zimmer) and Benjamin Wallfisch (The Flash composer).

Note that it's the same studio where Andy has been posting photos and videos in the last weeks.

She's probably there cause

Spoiler

Wonder Woman will show up in the 3rd act

Or if he gets formally indicted  or criminal charges for what we already know about,

That is the big problem for Warners; a lot of what happens is not in theri hands but in the hands of the legal system in a number of states.

I would hate to be in charge of marketing the film though: THey are going to have market the film while more or less pretending the star does not exist.

As for Miller no matter what happens legallly his career for the forseable future it toast; pretty much in RDJ territory. No studio is going to hire him for a major porject, just too risky not to mention the insurance for any project starring him would be through the roof.

Even if the FLash is a great movie, marketing is going to be tricky.

Irankly, I think WB total silence on the Miller situation is largely on the advice of their legal department, who has advised them that saying nothing is the best way to avoid getting the studio dragged into the legal mess Miller is in.

It's not just a PR problem, it's a legal problem.

ANyway Miller's career if over for a long, long, time.

And that legal grouble Miller is in is a lot worse. then the Depp Heard feud.
