Shazam was the only DC film which stayed with the same date for half a decade, even with the Captain Marvel reschedule and the Endgame date.

And there are some people who thinks that WB really cares about competition. They don't give a fuck about Star Wars x Aquaman, Spiderverse x Shazam, Black Adam x Avatar... they are just doing it.

Mirror Master, Grodd, Captain Cold, Zoom, Abra Kadabra, Rainbow Raider whew what a gallery.

But last year Ezra said that he would like to fight Savitar (I really think that they will use Flash Reverse).

How dare you leave out my Favorite, The Weather Wizard?

Ok, who will the Villian be?

One of the strong points about the FLash is he has a really good rogues gallery, probably the best in DC except for Batman. The Superman rogues gallery is surprising shallow.

And Wonder Woman's Rogues Gallery is the opposite with how deep and diverse it is.  Runs the full gamut from Greek Gods and mythological beings to were-cheetahs, misogynist mind-controllers and cut-throat yet sympathetic businesswomen.

?!?!

Superman Villains:

Lex Luthor

Darkseid

Doomsday

Brainiac

Zod

Parasite

Bizarro

Lobo

Mister Mxyzptlk

(Black Adam)

Superman has enough villains that Supergirl essentially uses them all for their show.

I don't think anyone views Darkseid, Lobo and Black Adam as "Superman villains".

As for the rest: Doomsday is a gimmick, never was a real character, and is a one and done anyway. Bizarro and Mister Mxyzptlk are way out there to be accessible, Parasite is a little generic and low-key.

So that just leaves Luthor, Zod and Brainiac.

Mister Mxyzptlk and Bizarro  are  generally played for laughs, anyway, they are  more of an  humorous opponent then a real villain.

Only people who think Lobo is a Superman Villain as those who only know Lobo through the "Superman:TAS" cartoon. In the comics, he is very much a popular character on his own. Bruce Timm wanted to do Lobo because he liked the character so much ,, and making him a Superman opponent was the easiest way.

BLack Adam is very much a Shazam Villian. that does not mean he has not fought Supes on occasion, but Supes is not his main opponent. Adam's home base is as a Shazam villain.

Disagree about Darksied, though; he did not start out as a Superman villain, but that is what he developed into;mainly because he was one of the FEw DC villians who you can see actually posing a real threat to Supes. Darkseid is a god and Supes is just a Kryptonian.

But I still maintain Superman's rogues gallery is not one of the bigger ones. In his commentary for "Superman:The Animated Series" Bruce Timm frankly said that one of his biggest problems was coming up with villians who could pose a real threat to supes, since the rogues gallery was surprisingly thin, and ended up borrowing from other hero's rogues gallery or creating his own "Highwire" being the most successful (though IMHO you could almost see the "Electro" fingerprints all over HIghwire).

There is no worse a story to start a Flash movie with than Flashpoint, but whatever, they got to get Pattinson and a new Superman into this universe somehow.

That doesn’t even make sense. The Batman movie comes out an entire year before this.
