There are definitely some questionable choices made that I'm gonna have to get used to but I think they're more or less nailing the vibe, Still not sure about the humor but we'll see.

I think it’s an homage to the original Eastman/Laird comic run which had a lot of rough edges and was printed in black & white

TMNT has been on a roll for a while now. The last two animated TV shows and the animated Netflix movie were really, really good. I’m excited for this new one too.

I just remembered that TMNT saw a pretty notable resurgence in the early to mid 2010s. The 2012 show was pretty big in its heyday, and the 2014 film did better than expected. Then if he whole thing just seemed to fade away after the 2016 film flopped.

TMNT is one of those franchises that seems to almost always overperform whether it is comics, shows, or movies.  I expect a big box office haul.
