Poseidon
Still 100% after 19 reviews, all pretty convinced of great chemistry between the 2 leads. Kind of reminds me of "The Proposal". Sandra Bullock is like a multifunction tool. She is able to connect with any other person on screen, it's just amazing. It was a long wait for a movie like this. Lower scale was buried on Netflix in the last Couple of years. MAy this be the comeback of romantic comedy in theaters with a huge $100m-Result.
AdrianL
Yeah tbh I'm kinda expecting this to open at Jungle Cruise #s, mid 30s. Won't be too surprised if it ends up being 20s but I feel like with Dog doing well and Bullock pretty reliable in a movie like this it should overperform.
Flopped
I watched it. It's generic but fun. Brad Pitt steals the show. Channing is great too. Love Sandra but she's pretty much playing her character from The Proposal here, just 10% less bitchy. It played very well with the crowd. Tarintino
This will do well, Bullock is one of the most reliable box office draws out there, and she ages like a fine wine
Borobudur
I guess Bullock is one a few actress that manage to carry a romantic comedy at the of aged 50s

Tbh I always did the same thing whenever I went to watch a movie. When I get my food I wanna start eating it as soon as I sit down.
BestPicturePlutoNash
Thought this was quite bad (which is a statement applicable to most Bullock films) but the Pitt and Tatum scene was very fun. Walk-ups were strong at my showing. If it hits 30m+, nice little streak for Paramount--Scream, Jackass. And Top Gun is around the corner. interiorgatordecorator
Reviews seems to have lost a bit of their luster, will probably end in the 60's on RT, for something that maintained 100% for a couple of days, that's gotta be disappointing Thought that was a trick only supers or fandom driven blockbusters could pull, surprised to learn studios also have "lists" of "reviewers" that are expected to respond well to rom-coms Edited March 25, 2022 by interiorgatordecorator

Will typing "Brad Pitt being iconic in the lost city" in the youtube search bar 45 days from now be enough to squeeze all of the quality out of this flick or does the scene require more context that what can be picked up from the trailers? The excitement of seeing a shiny, new movie at a big movie festival, one that is fairly exclusive, even for big critics, is going to cause aggregate inflation. Even in more prestigious places like TIFF, this kind of stuff happens on occasion.
