He was just nominated for a Tony (albeit for a production from two years ago due to COVID shutting everything down). Having just played a Spider-Man villain it seems natural to want to stay in the action genre a little longer.

 

This certainly looks like a Michael Bay movie but it seems entertaining, much better than Uncharted for sure. Pure genre efforts like this have always felt like a much better fit for Bay's sensibilities than bombastic CGI fests.

Watching this trailer back to back against Uncharted and Red Notice was refreshing. I do enjoy a good number of Bay films ngl and this looks like a lotta fun, he seems to have discovered drone shooting.
