Gopher
Down -58.4% from last Monday. This is the week before Easter, where this whole week is inflated to some degree. Basketball was last night, and it looks like it hurt Titans too. It just needs a big jump today to compete for #1 this weekend.
lab276
If it follows Easter 2007, there'll be increases every day this week.
baumer
If it follows Easter 2007, there'll be increases every day this week.It won't follow that pattern from 5 years ago. You can expect a good jump today and a big drop on Wednesday. So I'd say it will jump 20% today and drop 27-29% tomorrow.

That would seem the most logical to me given the way dailies go now. Edited April 3, 2012 by lab276

What I mean is, since discount Tuesday is a thing now, the increase will be substantial, but since school is also out, the Wednesday drop won't be as large as normal. Is it wishful thinking? Probably, but it seems logical to me.Also, Easter last year was the 24th of April, so these would be the more accurate days:http://boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/?sortdate=2011-04-19&p=.htm Edited April 3, 2012 by lab276

Probably, but it seems logical to me.Wishful thinking. Discount Tuesdays are huge here so the numbers are inflated. Wednesday always has a big drop.Don't believe me? Even look at summer weekdays...Tuesday is a slight bump and Wednesdays drop. You can't avoid it. http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=daily&id=transformers3.htm
baumer
ignore baumer. I think he's a studio plant from rival studios. He always tries to downplay Hunger GamesDude, seriously? I'm just realistic and I know the daily trends maybe a bit more than some of you because A) I've been doing this since 2002 and I have no emotional connection with the film so I can call it like it is, not how i want it to be. lab276
But it's Easter, so the Wednesday drop shouldn't be as drastic as usual and it would more closely match other Easter weekdays.
