Thats quite a bad drop for a holiday weekend (friday till monday off), it basicly had the same drop as FB2.

We had 300k previews (rougly)

Week 1: bit over 2.15m (400k midweek)

Week 2: 1.09 weekened and probably 500k midweek (so only 1.6m vs the 2.1m i thought)

Looking forward it has a week of break comming up in may but by then with these drops it won't matter. Atm€6-7m is probably where it lands.

Rare to see big multiple in The Netherlands. Demon Slayer OW was $55,866 but it went to made up to $19,489,957. Was it fan screenings in OW or big-breakout after OW. (link)

I think it's just a mistake the site, since the film wasat 303k after a 17k 4th weekend, it seems impossible for any film to bounce back in such a way and if it had done that then someone here should have mentioned it

That's just a wrong number. DS total was €263.6k or rougly 300k USD. And yeah multiples over 10x are very rare in the netherlands. That said I do think that the Netherlands has one of the highest average multies out of all markets. Specialy if you consider that the Netherlands have opening weekends of 4 days vs markets that only have 2 days (like japan) or 3 days like China / US. (I know Japan and US also have some longer OW's)

Thanks! We have one work here that has recently passed 10x multiple, it's "The Last 10 Years" (OP was ¥221.5M /Total reached ¥2710M /12.23x). This work has also shown a slight ¥6M increase on 2nd Weekend too !

Finaly we are seeing good drops from TGM! Haven't been impressed by TGM holds other than the past 2 weeks, (Not inclueding the OW of near 2m that suprised me) I'm really glad that it starts holding very well now. Having harsh drops on it's 2nd and 3rd weekend compared to what's normal for well received movies had me worried but it seems like weather also played a big role + schools not being out yet like they are now.

Also a good hold for JWD after a brutal 40% drop on it's second weekend. If it manages a good (sub 25%) 4th weekend drop it might get close to JWF after opening 31% lower. But I woudn't count on it.

Not sure how many IMAX and PLF screens are in Holland, could TGM leg it to overtake NWH?

It needs 25% drops max for the next 3 weeks to beat NWH could be doable but it will probably be close.

Week 27 (30/06-03/07)

1. Minions Rise of Gru - €1.045.684 - on par with the first minions although this one released in full holidays whilst the first one did not. Still should clear €8m + with this, has a decent shot at €10m.

2.Bon Bini Holland - €765.144

3. Top Gun: Marverick - €608.526 (-16.7%)

4. Elvis - €529.258 (-34.6%)

5. Jurassic world: Dominion - €447.879 (-34.2%)

TGM had a good hold, easily the best hold in the top 10. It's total is now up to €8.49m, not this weekend but the weekend after it should pass €10m, with great holds it might do it in the upcomming midweek. Still Thor will probably put a dent in it's hold this weekend. Next weekend is looking like the weather will be extremely hot so yeah. If not for the weather this would have locked €12m now.

Both Elvis and JWD had good holds, maybe Elvis could have been closer to 25% for it's second weekend drop but this is still fine.

Week 28 WND chart (07/07-10/07)

1. Thor: Love and Thunder - €1.595.918 - ( €2.060.004) so 400k ish in previews.

2. Minions Rise of Gru - €1.185.871 (+13.4%) - (€3.708.447)

3.Bon Bini Holland - €548.621 (-28.3%) - (€1.694.589)

4. Top Gun: Marverick - €468.650 (-23%) - (€9.178.663)

5. Elvis - €398.324 (-24.7%) - (€2.287.464)

6. Jurassic world: Dominion - €265.010 (-40.8%) - (€5.892.305)

Thor heavily out opened the previous instalment. Ragnarok made €1.47m OW+Previews meaning TLT is up 40% whilst the weekend is up 34% (€1.59m vs €1.19m) TLT has the better release date and it shoudn't have much competition over the next few weeks. That said WoM isn't good so that might affect it more negativly. Still I think it should be able to do €6m (that's a 50% increase over previous one). But we will know much more on next weeks drop.

Minions had a very good midweek, animations have very strong midweeks compared to other movies (500k over Mon - Wed). It also had a nice increase as you can see, however it didn't match the previous instalments increase of 34% (but again mostly due to different release date). I think this movie is looking very strong and I am pretty confident in a €10m + finish now.

Bon Bini Holand 3 didn't have the best drop, it also didn't get release in december like previous ones, this obviously ment i wasn't going to increase but it should have had a drop below 10% or atleast below 15%, maybe thor is a big factor here. Still should clear €3.8m i guess.

TGM: Decent hold, it did got hit by Thor a bit. It's going to go over €11m for sure, €12m is depending on how bad the weather effects things now. Sad this movie droped so hard in early weekends cause late holds have been outstanding.

Evlis had a good hold, not much to say, will probably leg it close to or just over €4m.

JWD: big drop, expecting, might be getting at the point where drops get big in its run as it doesn't have the PTA to keep hold of the screens. A finish around €6.5m is likely.
