That’s actually pretty good for The Forever Purge. It’s had some strong weekdays too. Looking forward to seeing a UK preview on Tuesday.

I have a similar wide range on Spider-Man. Either could be very good or just a disastrous mess.

deadline write on the spot

So, $13.2M True Thurs

$26.5M True Fri

I could see this miss $80M if it plays out Mortal Kombat style - rush of the fans on day 0/1 without the "norms" filling in the weekend...

We could see $23M Sun and $16M Sun for a Disney estimated $80M weekend that ends up about $78.5M...here's hoping that doesn't happen...I gotta think that kinda number is worst case...

A multiplier under 2? Seems a bit extreme.

Still on track for $85m IMO.

"Black Widow was guy heavy at 58%, with 52% under 25 and close to half the audience between 18-34. Diversity demos were 46% Caucasian, 21% Latino, 16% Black, and 18% Asian/other. The pic played strong across the country with a notable turnout in the West. Imax and PLF repped over 30% of Black Widow‘s ticket sales so far."

For those wondering about audience breakdown - quite different from F9...

Not a failure or disappointment but I can't say I am satisfied with the result since 100m is pretty much dead unless MCU's Saturday strikes back.

CM was more guy heavy, over 60%. International Women's Day drew 64% guy audience. :hahaha:

Pretty good number for BW. Highest OW during the pandemic. It should coast to 85+ weekend. In this current climate, that’s pretty darn good.
