Shocked that Disney actually released PA numbers (although should be noted they mentioned nothing of Black Widow breaking any PA records.)

Yeah, 60M on PA on it's first 3 days. This really can make 100M profit alone for Disney. And the movie will still probably make +500M on box office.

As we discussed earlier, I doubt this will change this movie's profit margins by much.

not really we expected around 85 mill for widow , and with actuals it will come around that , its a very decent opening nonetheless

 

 

ps and deadline was expecting 70 mill os ow so.........

How would you expect actuals to increase by 7M considering that Europe isn't going to be contributing much today due to the Euro finals.

Wow 60 mln $ from PA, much bigger number than I expected. It completely changes perception. 140 mln $ opening weekend is fantastic number and big trumph of this model. 

Bad news for theathers, it surely will encourage to apply this model to MCU films more often, cos it actually works.

The movie opened in the predicted range domestic (even if in the low end) and above expectations foreign.

 

Even without great PA numbers, no one would put a bad narrative against a record opening.
