that movement has gained a lot of credibility lately, I never cared personally and thought that movie was beyond saving but I'm curious to see where this is going

Why is it that Cameronr fans just cannot accept that Cameron has a film that did not perform at the box office and are trying to make a success of a failure?

I don't care about the Cameron side of things. I just really liked the movie and want a sequel to continue the story.

It does seem like a long shot, though.

Alita is premiering on HBO/Crave this weekend in Canada, its US premiere on HBO will be on Feb 1.

Blu-Ray bonus features (mini crash course on Alita's history, Iron City, Motorball and being a cyborg). Worth watching before the movie imo.

Say what you will about the Snyder Cut guys, but I think it's great that other fans are also starting to make their voices heard like this:

They're donating everything past the $1,810 mark.

Insignificant or not, at the very least there's always a great cause that benefits from it.

2020 Visual Effects Society Awards:

Alita got snubbed at the Oscars. It deserved at least a nomination for SFX.

Ahahahahaha - LOL? WUT?!! - Alita didn't get a nom?

While 5 other movies did - all of them ugly, stupid and boring (except Star Wars 9)??

And to think I said the Oscars couldn't be any more of a joke. :)

PS: Only way they ever mean something again is if Joker wins Best Picture.

Congratulations to this great movie - for the Oscar it should have won (see above)!

At least we got the longest thread ever (compared to BO).

I finally saw this on HBO go this past weekend. I really liked it but I didnt like how it ended at all. I wouldve preferred a more definitive ending rather than a set up for more.

Let's see what the people (GA) think about the sequel:

That does not matter. What mattered is that not enough of the GA turned out to see it last year.

Alita Disney+ spin-off when

That is actually the best chance for the Alita series to continue. I think it's pretty clear the chances for a thereatrical sequel are really, realy, low.
