CJohn
http://www.hollywood...x-office-308295 The 3D rerelease of James Cameron's "Titanic" will gross a strong $5 million to $6 million at the Wednesday box office, and is even keeping up with "Hunger Games." Noctis
A $6m would guarantee a $30m 5-day.
MovieMan89
Awesome! That would put it exactly where I expected on my original $50m 5 day trajectory. Edited April 4, 2012 by MovieMan89

MovieMan89
Easter is Sunday. Why does that affect the Saturday?
John Marston
it's a decent opening but doesn't seem that spectacular for the second biggest movie ever

lab276
All movies drop on Saturdays on Easter. But I don't think the drop will be that bad.
CJohn
Easter is Sunday. Why does that affect the Saturday?Don't ask me. But that just happens every year. Maybe the drop I am predicting is a bit too big, tho.
lab276
So it's running neck and neck with THG at $5-6m? That doesn't seem right.

MovieMan89
Maybe THG somehow managed to stay flat or even increase today. That would be amazing!
Cochofles
You mean a 15-year-old period costume drama that's well over 3 hours?Yeah, not to mention that is played on TV like, every week.
NYer4Life
$5 million is what I was hoping for!$6 million would be even better, but $5 million would seem to put a lock on a $30+ million 5-day total.$5 million is huge considering it's a weekday and how long the movie is... I'm going to see it tomorrow but it's still a time crunch and I have to work my schedule around it!The weekend could be even bigger if people are holding off until they have more time to see it during the weekend...
