I got so used to seeing $600,788,188 that it was one of only two grosses I actually had memorized, the other being A New Hope.155M to go before it retakes the crown from Avatar. Webslinger
Those aren't bad numbers. Yesterday, the United States had a pseudo holiday: Baseball Opening Day. It might have affected movies more than normal.Ehh, I doubt it considering that there was only one regular season game on last night. But it was the Miami Marlins, who have the opportunity to be at least as entertaining as any movie in theatres this season between the new ballpark, the bizarre new uniforms and logo, and the fact that there are so many huge personalities in the clubhouse, so... ;)I think Titanic is off to a good start considering that it was the middle of the week and the movie itself is 194 minutes long. Can't wait to see it on the big screen for the first time over the weekend.
