Mojoguy
The Last of Us meets Jurassic Park. But the biggest issue is that there is no funny Ian Malcom type character to prevent itself from taking itself way too seriously. The trailer was shown with Antman for me, one loud old couple mockingly saying "He was bad, then turned good" clearly refering to TROS clusterfuck. They were more excited about Indiana Jones trailer which was played next. TGM must have blown their mind. I'll probably see this since I'm a sucker for "original" sci-fi.
CaptainJackSparrow
Not every movie needs comic relief, I'm excited for this partially because of the lack of humor. So many movies lately have had humor forced in.

A serious dinosaur survival thriller would be amazing - if its done well, ofc, which i really hope for this.
Nikostar
The problem with this movie is that it just don't look worth watching. A fight for survival movies comes a dime a dozen am we just had a Dinosaur movie that made 1 billion last year.
John Marston
wish this could be successful. Would be cool to have a new dinosaur franchise but unfortunately it seems like it is being dumped

Krissykins
This has been rated a 12A here in the UK so it must be tame.

CaptainJackSparrow
Yikes. Hopefully I'll still enjoy the film, I won't be going to the theaters again afterwards until Mermaid this May. 😞

You don't kick a movie like this over a whole year if it isn't a mess of some kind. There were rumours early last year about this movie being terrible as well. Boxofficerules
It’s opening against Scream 6 in order to make extra money off teens buying tickets to 65 and sneaking into Scream.
Brainbug
Could this be the first dinosaur movie since JP3 for me to dislike? I hope not, but this all sounds not very promising.
Alex SciChannel
The movie came out in the United Arab Emirates this week. First social media reaction:
Alex SciChannel
Minor spoilers if you can call it that but here are all the creatures that appear in the film. No herbivores and a small tyrannosaur like creature that looks like a hybrid between and ankylosaur and a theropod. As a paleontology major I am cringing. I'm not asking for accuracy but be a little more creative than mashing two animals together for no reason. Also new promo material has the T. rex having mammal canines. https://twitter.com/SHINOBI__03/status/1632126116985991170?t=8higpTjxq47dwobTgJuvqA&s=19 Edited March 6, 2023 by Alex SciChannel

Morieris
Quote The dialogue is minimal and doesn't waste its time figuring out what the planet is or what the creatures are Doesn't the poster itself say 65 million years ago on earth, what do we need to figure out? Hiccup23
Well I was gonna check this out (I love anything dinosaurs) but if there is barely any dinos then I am out. I wouldn't be surprised by a sub $10M opening weekend.
