Do you know if Oricon - also includes counts for the one Piece volumes that are sold in France?

I am sorry but Oricon research is limited to Japan. Still limited to physical copies. So, we never get to know Digital Count &overseas count unless Manga Management sector or their distributor announced counts officially.

Can I ask for a curiosity that I have had for a long time? I've seen that Shūeisha updates the total sales of their manga very often, for example Spy x Family and Chainsaw Man every million copies, Kingdom every 2/3, Jujutsu Kaisen every 5 and One Piece every 10 million. In this way the numbers are always updated and I see that those news are often announced in particular events, recurrences etc so it also makes sense

Then on the contrary there are other big companies like Shogakukan and Kodansha that don't do the same, and Kodansha in particular haven't updated in a long time the sales of Cells at Work, GoTobun no Hanayome, Vinland Saga and also their biggest manga Attack on Titan, for which were announced the 100 million copies more than 2 years ago. In the meantime it should have exceeded 120 million (at least according to my calculations) and they never announced anything despite the many occasions: the final season, the final chapter, the final volume, the exhibition for the tenth anniversary of Studio Mappa etc...

So my question is, very simply, why don't everyone do like Shūeisha?

Sales are sometimes marginalised like not a very good increase. Some, just wait for important milestones to pass like you noticed above. Like DS's global total was last updated on Feb 2021 when it has passed 150M, and we do not know the current global total. Manga Sales counts are highly dependant on Distributors on respective countries &also on management sector of the manga like PR. Other than that Digital versions aren't easy to count (clickbaits) Indeed, JJK total does not include Overseas markets.

Kondansa &Shogakukan does not update data as Shueisha because they do not find the numbers convincing enough to reveal (In Japan, Oricon's Weekly Manga Sales already help us to know how series/volumes are selling in present), some wait for big events like anniversary of Manga, Publisher Annual reports, **th edition of publishing..... Other than that many are simply afraid that if they post how will everyone reacts like "Only this numbers, ...completely flopped"

In short, If a manga reach a certain &important milestones then Publishers are ready to reveal it's global total, Promotion events like anime adaptation &Film announcement are booked to reveal such numbers. Also reserved for Important events like Publisher's anniversary, manga anniversary, authors/writer anniversary.....

Regarding AOT, I think that it's numbers will be reveal after ending it's final season.
