Guess my 35-60% increase for eternals seems within the right range but ofcorse eternals won't hit that 100% since its opening week. But some of the holdovers may hit it.

Morning Glory was in Day 3 so it's an anomaly.  Due Date's 64% is probably the high end for anything that isn't expanding.

Clifford dogs surge was actually 89% considering Wed's number include Tuesday preview.  Venom 2 will pass 200m and NTTD over 150m this weekend considering both hold super good last week with Eternals came. Dune will further solidify its path to 100m. Eternals number look normal to me as MCU film, nothing suggest the impact of B cinemascore

If the BoxPro & Reports estimates hold for Dune this weekend, it's on its trajectory to $105-110m, and looking closer to $110m. Probability to drop below $100m is insignificant now.

Eternals will probably come in the 30%-50% sat increase. Megamind  (69%) benefited from being a family film.

Uhh… pretty normal actually? Like it wouldn’t be a strong hold by any means but it’s not a total nosedive either, better than the CS would suggest imo.

This will probably be top 5 domestic of the year (alongside with other 4 Marvel movies).

Everyone expect a little more but this is far from a failure given context, and actually 62% drop is pretty normal. So far doesn't even look like B cinemascore is doing any bad for it.

It's not horrific ,but it ain't normal either. It's acceptable could have been worse.

If this were summer , this drop would be normal .

DS and Ragnarok second weekends were inflated by v day so third weekend was affected -58.7% and 62.5%.

TDW third weekend also dropped worse than the second. 61vs 57.

Eternals third won't drop that hard

48%-55%

I’d agree, a -62% drop isn’t awful. Drop is probably being lessened by it keeping all of its PLF’s and having zero direct competition open in its second weekend though. Something not every film has had the luxury of.
