Unless it's for a TV show no big franchise movies are going direct to streaming. Disney and Netflix will keep making big budget streaming movies (if Disney makes Prey 2, it would still probably go straight to HULU) Only other studios will act differently. Verrows
For some reason I thought I heard McConaughey was returning. Hmph! Looks so good though! The NFL schedule extending a week sort of through a wrench in movie scheduling this time of year though, with Super Bowl weekend also being pushed back by one week. They obviously want to take advantage of the weekend before Valentine's Day but at the same time it could get destroyed by the Super Bowl. The Choice did great on Super Bowl weekend back in 2010.but things are different now. We'll see I guess. All I know is I'm there!

Less promotion, potentially less theaters too. Starting to believe those "WBD has no money" rumors are true. Is...is Warner on its last legs? Are we losing another studio soon? 1
filmlover
Huh, they had the premiere for this last night at the Regal South Beach...which will be one of the Regals closing less than a week after this opens. I guess if you're gonna go out might as well go out with a bang.
DAJK
Starting to get the feeling that this is going to underperform big time. Could very likely see a world where Dog outperforms this.
