This was absolutely amazing. It was far more funny and emotional than I expected and it has a lot of heart too. Its heavy in some places on fan service but you’ll be too excited to give a damn. The visual effects were great, the score was amazing as well.

It never felt overstuffed or confusing and I did not wanted it to end. Everyone was great in this (Ned MJ, Octo, Osborn especially) but none compared to tom hollands peter parker. He really outdid himself.

Oh and the audience absolutely gobbled it up and loved every minute of it. I have never heard more cheering and clapping and woohoos like this for any movie before (other than Endgame, but this was very close)

Seriously brilliant movie and I actually think it's gonna have high repeat views. Feels are amazing and I'm starting to think I won't be surprised if this gets good legs and maybe challenges Age of Ultron's or even Jurassic World's box office totals

So are Venom 2 and NWH going to Netflix in a couple months?

In 9 months to STARZ in the US. It’ll then move to its Pay 2 provider 9 months after that (I have no idea where that would be in the US). I wouldn’t be shocked if Venom and NWH end up on Disney in 18 months as they’ll have access to Sony library content and I image those 2 films would count by then.

Sony are apparently continuing the 9 month SVOD dates for their movies for the next 5 years which is MADNESS.
Warner, Disney, Universal, Fox, and Paramount are getting their movies onto streamers after 45 days. Audiences will get used to such a short wait time.

Wrote this on the U.K. thread, but the fact NWH is going to do minimum two thirds FFH’s entire run by the end of its first weekend should tell you all what is coming stateside.  This thing is capable of lunacy numbers for you guys.

We in the U.K. made No Time to Die the third biggest film of all time, during a pandemic. We’ve launched NWH into the stratosphere despite omicron fear and uncertainty everywhere on our shores.

My American brothers and sisters, with your mediocre turn outs so far during the pandemic era….it’s time to show us what you can do!!  SPIDER-MAN IS HERE!!! GO GET EM TIGERS!!!

Seems maybe even up to 80% of FFH but the end of the weekend in the UK. Not likely domestically since that would be….$312M!

But I think we can do $312M in the first 5 days ;)
