$3m more and it would've outgrossed TASM 1 TOTAL in just one weekend.

Also unless it gets nominated itself then I'm also 99% certain NWH OW will be higher than the COMBINED TOTAL Domestic gross of all 10 Best Picture nominees at next year's Oscars.

In other news, this will put us past $600M for the worldwide opening. Probably around $605M once all the actuals are counted :)

If it actually surpasses $600M it would be such a beautiful sight!

Imagine if that China debut happens next year. With the holidays this could actually do 2b in the end. Even with a pandemic happening.

I mean in a week we'll be way past the 1b already...not that weird.

Just pointing out now The Flash won’t be helped much by just having Keaton Batman because has much as Keaton is a national treasure he has been completely overshadowed by Bale’s Batman. Hell even in his own movies he was overshadowed by the villains.  A cold hard fact

I went into the comments of these tweets and there are people who genuinely think that Disney scheduled these films to fail and that Spider-Man would make them bomb. Never mind the fact that Spidey is a Sony  release but the idea that a studio would deliberately crash a entire slate is so absurb...

I can't express how exceptional Spidey's opening weekend is. If it weren't for Endgame, this would be the highest opening ever.

That the film, with holiday legs, has a legitimate, non-zero chance of outgrossing both Endgame and The Force Awakens (though the latter will be tougher), to become the highest grossing film domestically, is truly remarkable. That it may even come close, is remarkable enough.
