Yea we're gonna drop all this non tracking stuff. That expressly means you, @excel1. Next post from you that isn't tracking related is a thread ban.    Anyone else continues, it's points.

GotG3 Final Alpha numbers...managed to get to 300k, but lower than AM3 in both ticket sales and ATP.  Looks like 17.5 to me, but if west coast chains were strong then maybe 18.

Shows 9PM and later def weaker, esp in East Time Zone. Combo of running time, lack of holiday weekend, and probably demographics, but all of that just indicates (at least to me) the IM will be better

I was gonna say it indicates a heavier 25+ and possibly 40+ audience demo than normal MCU, since the older age ranges rarely show up for late shows...

The comedy sequel curse appears ready to strike again with Book Club 2. Starting to feel like a sub-$10M opener despite falling on Mother's Day weekend (and having Early Access screenings this Sunday).

 

I don't even know what Knights of the Zodiac even is. Gonna guess it's a schlocky action movie.

Yeah, that’s what I meant by demographics - Guardians absolutely plays older (and whiter), but that audience is less Thursday heavy than their younger and more diverse counterparts. It’s not a coincidence Saturday pre-sales are so much better than the last year of MCU films, similar to (but not on same level) as Batman or even Avatar 2, both of which legged out well over OW

Meh final day at both big MTCs. Including early imax shows I am thinking low 17s. MiniTc2 is too tiny to make up for all the loss from big chains. I would not even call it West Coast chain. its just regional mostly out of AZ plus couple in CO and 1 in OK and 4 theaters in suburbs of Socal. The best way to judge west coast is to look at MTC1/2 anyway as they are the dominant chains.
