Leyla
The most worrying is The Hobbit 3, a strong drop over TH2 is very likely. Actually some NY releases (Exodus, Into the woods, local comedies) can even outgross it b/c they'll have an advantage of increased holiday prices ugh i hate this year Good news tho 'The tribe' - award winning ukranian film wholly in sign language is released Jan 22 'Foxcatcher' is on Jan 29 Edited December 3, 2014 by Tauriel

Quigley
KM's analysis (sp?) about BOFA they predictably expect it to get 1,5 bil in local currency At the current exchange rate, that's about $27-28M. That would have been $50M back in winter 2012-2013.
Mojoguy
What's so bad about the current exchange rate? How much would Frozen have made with this exchange rate?

juni78ukr
Penguins wont pass billion RUB. Only 685 mln RUB after 2nd weekend and 717 mln RUB in 2 weeks. Will finish well below 2nd and 3rd Madagascar. Quite a dissapointment. Compared to other countries The Pyramid did relatively well. Would be around 2 mln with old exchange rates. Mockingjay – Part 1 passed Catching Fire final gross in RUB. 795.7 vs 778 mln RUB. Of course well behind in USD. Still the legs were awful, Interstellar grossed 1131.2 mln RUB including Wednesday. #26 all-time. Will try to pass Men in Black 3 (1151 mln RUB) and Despicable Me 2 (1158.6 mln RUB). Horrible Bosses 2 already outgrossed the first movie. 134.1 vs 133 mln RUB. Two out of three Russian movies bombed. The third did mediocre at best. Olive
Rentrak numbers for AUJ. 75.84 mln - 64.06 mln (-17%) - 77.17 mln (+20%) - 166.83 mln (+116%) - 155.02 mln (-7%) 463.09 mln RUB weekend + 75.84 mln Wednesday. 538.93 mln RUB 5day. Official numbers a bit higher. 474.25 mln weekend and 550.05 mln 5day. Probably some money added from Belarus or Kazakhstan. $1 = 30.76 RUB so $15.42 mln weekend and $17.88 mln 5day Now 90 mln RUB Wednesday + 80 mln Thursday + 95 mln Friday. 265 mln RUB Wednesday - Friday vs 217 mln last year. +22% increase. $1 = 32.94 RUB so $8.04 mln Wednesday-Friday. +14% increase in USD. With same Saturday and Sunday should be $20-20.5 mln in 5 days. What AUJ and DOS did in their OW.
