Fullbuster
Great result for Thor, remember that it's not just previews, it's also only late and midnight showings for Thursday. Thor will kill them all
fmpro
Is that because of Denmark's VAT?That also.. Paychecks are high here also.. So it goes hand in hand..
juni78ukr
Thor is already on the top. 636k in 159 theaters and counting. Ender's Game dropped. Looks like a total disaster.

juni78ukr
How many theaters for Thor? That's the main problem. Because of Friday opening and previews we will not know actual theaters count till the end of the long holiday weekend. So it will be very hard to make projections for daily and weekend grosses.

juni78ukr
I'm thinking around 1.5 mln Friday. Still without actual number of screens and theaters it is very hard to say.

juni78ukr
Any updated numbers for Escape Plan? Thanks. Like many other movies on week 3 it lost 40-50% of theaters and 60-70% of shows. 59k Thursday + 71k Friday. 6.34 m total. Will make some money thanks to long holiday weekend on Saturday-Monday and school holidays on Tuesday and Wednesday. After that it will be mostly over. Still 7mln total is not that bad compared to other markets.

Doubt it'll help aid interest in F1 in Russia, Vitaly Petrov didn't a few years ago and he was competitive from the start.

Actually, he did, i watch F1 since 2011 because of him, as many others, interest raising dramatically, actually; Russian Time, Marussia, Russian GP, Petrov, Kvyat, Sirotkin(probably won't be in F1 next year though). Sponsorship - yea, that's not so easy, but that's the other thing. Edited November 2, 2013 by Cosmonaut

It's ridiculous!
