juni78ukr
The thing is kinometro calcullate total grosses by exchange rates of the opening weekend. That's why they have BH6 total higher than me. I use current exchange rates for every day in release. They do not bother. So they use 44.4 RUB per USD for weekend gross and 40.97 RUB per USD for the total gross. Weird.

juni78ukr
Very good friday increase so far for Interstellar. It appears not frontloaded at all. Should make at least 7.3-7.5 mln for the weekend. Might even finish close to 8mln.
teardropmina
so it will be at the same range of Gravity OW?
Fullbuster
so it will be at the same range of Gravity OW? Indeed, in reality it will be much better because the exchange rate is really horrible right now.
teardropmina
Indeed, in reality it will be much better because the exchange rate is really horrible right now. did Gravity's run there counts as having good leg? same OW amount, exchange rate issues, Interstellar needs better leg to match/ or exceed Gravity's gross. Fullbuster
did Gravity's run there counts as having good leg? same OW amount, exchange rate issues, Interstellar needs better leg to match/ or exceed Gravity's gross. Usually movies are very frontloaded in Russia, apart from animated movies..Twice the OW is the most frequent trend, Gravity defied with trend and almost tripled its OW but it's unlikely for Interstellar to do that, not with the competition from Hunger Games and a falling ruble. The Ruble lost 30% of its values against the US Dollar this year, with an exchange rate similar to early January 2014 Interstellar's OW would be close to $10m OW and $20m would be reachable so as you can see it's pretty consequent! juni78ukr
Very good Saturday increase for Interstellar. At least 8.5 mln OW. Most likely 5th best November opening after 2012, two parts of Breaking Dawn and first part of Deathly Hallows.

Fullbuster
BIG HERO 6 - $18.2m Second biggest Disney/Pixar movie in Russia, behind Monsters University. In Rouble Big Hero 6 will probably pass MU, it's a real success, particularly if the very poor exchange rate is taken into account. Denizzo
Second biggest Disney/Pixar movie in Russia, behind Monsters University. Maybe I don't get something? Where are «Frozen» and «Tangled» gone?
