That's great for Interstellar, it's a very satisfying OW for such a movie, when it's about sci-fi and space you always can trust the Russian audience to be there :D

Big Hero 6 had an unbelievable hold, that means it has an excellent WOM, that's fantastic and $20m is sure at this point, I'm glad it is successful there it's a good omen for the rest of the world. I'm just sad about the exchange rate, with a better exchange rate it would be around $23m by now..

I forgot : $11m is a good number for Gone Girl and $21.5m for Dracula is impressive, I never expected anything from this movie so...

Why is there even "Pixar" in the title? Big Hero 6 is the second-biggest WDAS (Walt Disney Animation Studios) movie in Russia, behind only Frozen, which is also a WDAS movie.

That was weird but I guess they're the same for them given both are owned by Disney!

Annoying ain't it? I mean, who cares if the same studio owns them. Disney owns Marvel as well but no one compared Big Hero 6 to Iron Man or the Avengers (ironically Big Hero 6 is a Marvel property).

The reason for a comparison is because you want to remove a factor that suppossedly affects the box office performance. That factor could be genre, i.e. you can't compare a live-action film to an animated one because they appeal to different demographics. Or that factor may be marketing (so you compare the film to all films released by the same studio, which presumably applies the same marketing strategies). But animated Disney/Pixar films? That is just too much dissecting and almost feels as if the media outlets are trying to create a record out of nowhere.
