Warner Bros.’ The Batman continues to chug on its way to a final $400M+ endgame stateside. Three other Warner Bros. movies, all DC titles, have clicked past $400M: Dark Knight ($534.9M), Dark Knight Rises ($448.1M) and Wonder Woman ($412.8M).

6.) RRR (Sarigama Cinemas) 1,200 theaters, Fri $442K (-92%), 3-day $1.5M (-84%)/Total $12.4M/Wk 2

a 92% Friday to Friday drop.

That -84% weekend drop would be the 6th worst drop of all time.

That's what nearly $30 tickets and fan-rush does to a mf

5.) Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (Crunchy) 2,070 (-401) theaters, Fri $564K (-57%), 3-day $1.96M (-57%) /Total $31.2M/ Wk 3

JJk at 31M and the drop isnt even that bad when you consider how frontloaded these types of movies are. Together with Demon Slayer last year, Shonen anime movies based on popular shows seem to have really made themselves a nice little fanbase in the US.

Morbius sucking the lifeblood out of the Marvel brand name would be quite ironic.

But that wont happen.

Is this an alternate universe where Venom 2 and NHW didn’t outgross every MCU phase 4 film and one of them managed to get above 500m WW?

Joke's on you. NWH is part of phase 4.

Let’s just pretend that NWH being a success wasn’t about Sony’s other Spider-Men coming into the movie and focus on Venom 2 which still beat everything Marvel not from Sony.

Hope Dragon Ball Super Hero can continue the trend

Apparently The Batman is not releasing on HBO max on the 19th.

Why should it given it's great legs? They could reach $390M. A big maybe but possibly $400M.

And Warner Bros. never officially said it was dropping on April 19th.

Doubt it, Dragon Ball doesn't have much momentum as a franchise atm, and it's a big change in art style

DBS Broly art was fantastic. I don't get wtf they decided to change that to this crap...

"I feel really, really good knowing that The Batman, and Black Adam, and The Flash, and Elvis, and a whole host of other movies, are literally going to be showing up on day 46 on HBO Max in a variety of territories all over the world," Kilar said in an interview with Vox's Recode.

"Think about when movies would show up on HBO, which is eight to nine months after theatrical premiere. The Batman is going to show up on day 46 on HBO Max," Kilar said.

As I kept saying - "where the hell is that WB announcing it officially?"

Kilar saying a throwaway thing on a podcast was never the same as WB advertising it as coming on April 19 but most people here decided it was one and the same.

Where was any official ad by WB saying April 19?
