Solid family film. The plot is very predictable, the reveal of Professor Marmalade as the mastermind was pretty obvious given it's a much used trope but it doesn't really matter because it's entertaining. The animation is gorgeous and a departure from DWA's usual style

In all seriousness, the dynamic between Snake, Wolf, and Diane is probably the best thing about it, the other 3 characters feel like obligations. Shark and Piranha are interchangeable. There's a ton of books in this series, there must be more possibility to flesh everyone out.

 

It's fun, surprisingly heartfelt. It's just nice.
