Posted April 24, 2022 Share Posted April 24, 2022 I especially like the odds of The Woman King getting a trailer during CinemaCon; that film is action-adjacent so a trailer could pair well with the Summer blockbusters and present the film to those audiences throughout the Summer months leading up to September. Like, if they can manage to start getting the trailer played on Doctor Strange’s weekend, that’s a solid four months of showing the trailer in front of big blockbusters, and with a film like The Woman King, that visibility is going to matter big time. They have 14 months and don't even know what the movie is going to be, let alone when it's going to finally get out there.
