Yeah it makes no sense to use Krasinski for shits and giggles. He's big enough a name to warrant proper casting but not big enough to make a cameo for the sake of cameo work like Matt Damon in Ragnarok. He's more "That's Mr Fantastic" and less "WTF that's Matt Damon! " which was the whole point of Damon cameo.

i find krasinski a pretty poor actor generally and his brief appearance here did nothing for me. it's seems like the majority of people are into it though so i'm sure he'll keep that gig.

also the oooonly reason he was getting fancast in the first place was because people liked the idea of the package deal of him and blunt. if we just get him that's the worst version of the deal!

I loved Wanda killing off all the cameos. Reed Richards was a huge surprise to me, I had no idea! I hope him and Emily are actually cast and that this wasn’t just throwaway. Black Bolt being forced to kill himself from inside his skull was amazing. As was Peggy being cut in half with her own shield.

And Charlize Theron?!? Amazing. Who is she playing?

When it comes to story, pacing, dialogue and humour, this is definitely one of Marvels worst.

Like the Memory Lane device thing was so contrived, random and just awful writing.

‘Oh shit we forgot we need characters arcs in this movie, throw in a Memory Lane device that is randomly sitting in the street’.

The music battle was also so fucking random and unnecessary. Like their fighting for their lives and their throwing music notes at one another LOL.

The illuminati murder scene I was not expecting at all and it honestly one of the only good parts of the film imo.

I wish it went on longer and we got more time to know them but oh my god, I can’t forget Black Bolts head exploding lol.

Also Elizabeth Olsen saves the movie from disaster. What a powerhouse and deserved a better movie.

Also, I’ve seen it mentioned on Twitter and I agree, the conclusion/climax was very similar to Wonder Woman 1984. Not a physical fight, but showing the villain, a realisation rather than a fight. Interesting.

Mordo annoys me, I think Ejiofor overacts.

This is 100% Raimi. In Spider-Man 2, Doc Ock is stopped by Peter quoting Aunt May to him. In Spider-Man 3, Spidey and Sandman just talk it out. This was my favourite part of the film.

It was just too random for me I think. You’re watching a tense scene than all of a sudden they are throwing Beethoven lyrics at each other lol

All of the hype for the Illuminati and there in the movie for like 2 minutes LMAO

Yeah but those death scenes were almost as brutal as the final scene from Invincible episode 1.

I still can't at them overhyping the Illuminati everywhere just for them to die like dumb fucks in 2 minutes. What was Reed thinking stretching its arm in direction of Wanda after she killed Black Bolt with her mind? What was his idea?

I have not seen it, but it' was one film I decided I wanted to be spoiled about.

I suspect that what happens with Wanda will cause a replay of the whole fuss over what happened with Dany in the climax of "Game Of Thrones". A lot of her fans will be upset at her going over to the dark side, despite the fact that Wandavision was very careful to  build that a real possibility. Fans often see just what they want to see.

For me, that Wanda is so conflicted is what makes her such an interesting charecter.

Yeah Wandavision literally telegraphed this whole plot. I watched the first 7 episodes yesterday and every other episode she acts sinister as fuck. The last scene of the last episode is her reading the god damned dark hold looking scary lol.  Just because one character had a brief line that “forgives” Wanda, we are just supposed to forget the last 8 episodes? She was enslaving a entire town. I thought what they did with her story was great. She was corrupted by the book and I’m sure they will bring her back for a redemption storyline. Feige can do a not-dark Phoenix saga lol.
