I can't believe Disney approved any of this.  Maybe I'm just getting old and clutching my pearls, but like... the story is really that they're washed-up has beens, and their friend addicted to "cheese" gets kidnapped by the mob, and then they reveal there's a conspiracy regarding non-con body modification, trafficking, and slavery?  Yeah.  All the easter eggs were fun, but

This film isn't as good as Who Framed Roger Rabbit (one of my favourites of all time) but holy shit it is much closer in quality than I would have thought.

 

Tied for the best movie of the year for me with Top Gun Maverick.

Not quite the next Roger Rabbit but this is cute and fun and packed with a number of good jokes. Of all the Disney+ originals (either TV shows or movies) so far, this is one of the better projects to date. B
