The problem is Disney Marvel just came back down to Earth and now gross what other big studios gross. 2015-2019 it was Marvel, Star Wars, Disney remakes adding an extra 1-2B to the domestic market. And the underlying factor is thaterical ticket sales have suffered a permament major loss since 2020...and it's not coming back. Streaming has changed the whole game, and is has had the biggest negative impact on movie theaters since the coming of Television cut attedance nearly in half in the early 50's. I repeat, the real factor is movie attenance is way down. DUne 2 gross, is very, very, good by today's standard. A few years ago, it would not have been all that impressive.
