Does hitman mean something different in America then? Cause I thought a hitman was a paid assassin... and maybe I was just so bored in the film to pay attention (the movie is a piece of junk) but pretty sure his character is not an assassin.

 

Edit: To clarify, I knew the title referred to Del Toro's character, but I thought the title was inaccurate.
