Right. It's a rubbish teaser. A teaser should give a hint at what might be to come in the movie, but all this shows is that Leonardo Dicaprio has grown a beard and some guns shooting. Nothing interesting of note whatsoever. I don't even think the trailer looks particularly good visually

 

OMG, tree, stop badmouthing every macho masterpiece just because it's full of stubble and testosterone!!

That trailer was greatness, it's cool to see Chivo be able to do the cinematography to a movie that's actually visual (unlike Birdman, which while was awesome cinematography, was small scale and more impressive than beautiful and grand like Revenant is looking).

Looks much better than Birdman imo, and I loved Birdman.

Leo will almost certainly win an Oscar at some point. The longer the wait, the bigger the storyline will become. The Academy loves to reward actors and give them their "due." Plus he's only like 40 so he has a ton of time.

I love the shot of DiCaprio riding & shooting as the camera refuses to cut away like some director. 

From the director of Birdman/ I am excited. They should release this in 2015.
