Definite vibes similar to Showalter's The Big Sick except with a sad ending that the marketing is attempting to downplay (not a, heh, spoiler since it's based on a real couple and "The Hero Dies" was the original title). I loved that movie though so I'll check this out.

I see why they dropped “The Hero Dies” part of the title because I legit thought this was meant to be an action film.

Early reactions are coming from notables are coming in and looking very positive. Could be an Adapted Screenplay contender given how weak that category is this year. Hopefully it does well at the box office (or at least has better luck than Bros did).

saw this , pretty good, not sure why Ausiello kept it about his real life self, didn't deal much with his successful career
