I mean, it's a great number with this OW but I was confident in it being at least between WW and Black Panther, maybe passing BP. Oh well, great legs could help solve this, it's not done yet.
Fullbuster
OPENING WEEKEND That's more flattering for Aquaman in local currency : Wonder Woman => R$24m Aquaman => R$30.2m Black Panther => R$31m That damn exchange rate ruining everything, Aquaman indeed fared much better than the USD number indicates. On box office mojo it says WW opened to 7.3m usd? Are they mistaken?

The number I found for Wonder Woman was from an article from June 2017 saying this, if Mojo says 7.3m then it means the initial number has been revised down since then.

pepsa
Wait what? 7.7m OW after 3.4m Thur and Fri? Damm well that would mean: 1.3m Thursday 2.1m Friday Sat + Sun 4.3m So on average 2.15m for Sat/Sun so almost flat from Friday. Is this normal or is this just because it had a lot of hype? DC movies seem a bit more frontloaded than the Marvel ones in Brazil, it could be explained through the audience: Marvel movies are seen as more family-friendly and that's an audience that is more likely to watch movies during weekends when there's no kids at school and parents working. Just a hypothesis though.

Fullbuster
So sounds like we have a new challenger for passing the R$120m threshold, which is fantastic considering Black Panther barely passed it if I remember well.

At least Aquaman saved December because all the rest is very weak and I don't see Marry Poppins / Mortal Engines doing well.
Napoleon
If it ends under Black Panther I will consider it a failure. I'll have to buy some more tickets even though I didn't like the movie and don't want to see it again. We have to beat Marvel at any cost. Let's go DC fans.
