Well, it's at $64.9m and so close to the end of its run, I wasn't too off the mark :P

Hahaha, spinning just like Disney :P

Just for fun:

When it was at $60.8m you said that, so you were expecting $2.2m - $4.2m it's going to end up with $6.2m + so you were off atleast 40% +.

Now see it 'only' making $66m and me having to eat my words :sparta:

You're lucky, with another weekend without new competitors and before the World Cup $66m sjould be passed easily ^^

Ocean 8

Is that related to Ocean Eleven? Why did they regress to 8? :o

Anyway, I don't see this movie beign a threat in Brazil. What they like and don't like is fairly predictable.

I really need to update the 1st page with all the stats but I feel desperate...It's huge and since BOT tried a joke transforming all movies names into "Smurf-something" these lists got changed and nothing got back to what it was.

I barely have the will to do everything again >_<

How important Brazil is for Hollywood movies (in USD)?

Let's see this with the global ranks.Brazil is,for now,the 10th biggest BO market,so anything between the 10th and 7th was more or less in sync with the size of the market. Anything beyond 7th overperformed.

OVERPERFORMING MOVIES

-Rio: 1st,Brazil was its biggest market

-Finding Dory

-Moana : 5th

I looked at the population and 206M people live in Brazil, sixth most populated country, I didn't thought it were that many.

Germany is just the 16th biggest:lol: and will drop to 19 in the next few years.

4th biggest.

Bigger are

China

India

US

So Indonesia and Pakistan have a higher population, but less internet users.
