Fullbuster
Terminator Dark Fate did so badly in Brazil that we don't even have the OW numbers in USD, we just know it's behind Thailand...Unusual to say the least.

I am hoping it has crazy late run and make a play for 40m in brazil. Still long way to go, most of the states have them by end of the year, there is reason why Disney choose to release Frozen 2 only in Jan20 to leverage on summer break.

May be it can add another 2-3m during the break. So it needs to add 4m in next 4 weeks. Definitely possible. Nothing big is opening plus Brazil can support multiple releases.

Fullbuster
Joker is now at $35.1m in Brazil. I think $40m is probably not happening, it's too slow. Damn, if only Frozen 2 wasn't a January release there! Edited November 10, 2019 by Fullbuster

Fullbuster
MY GOODNESS, I checked the ER for the 1st time in a long time and I see it's now at $1 = R$4.15, it's absolutely horrendous! It's worse than in 2015, a year that was the worst of the decade for exchange rates! No wonder Joker didn't reach $40m with such an ER! 😕 4 years of disastrous ER, such a shame! I'm kinda glad Frozen doesn't release now as a result but given the way things are I'm not sure 2 months will change anything...
